Doctors Outpatient Surgery Center has earned The Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval for Ambulatory Health Care Accreditation by demonstrating continuous compliance within its nationally recognized standards. The Gold Seal of Approval is a symbol of quality that reflects an organizations commitment to providing safe and effective care.

Crystal Livingston started her career in healthcare in 1998 at Bryan Hospital as a nurse in the ICU/Progressive Care unit and then joining the Heart Team in the operating room. When a specialty cardiac hospital opened in the area, she came on board to help lead the new venture in the operating room. While there, she graduated with her Masters in Nursing Administration and was able to join the Leadership team at the Nebraska Heart Hospital as their Director of Nursing before leaving to lend her expansive knowledge to lead the team at Doctors Outpatient Surgery Center.
Andie Trimble began her nursing career at the Nebraska Heart Hospital as an ICU/Heart Recovery nurse after having worked in the operating room as a CNA for a number of years. In 2014, she became the House Supervisor and led the night shift staff for several years. In 2017, following the birth of her last child, she once again joined the operating room team. When given the opportunity to combine her love of both the OR and clinical staff management, she jumped at the chance to help lead the way at Doctors Outpatient Surgery Center.


Deb Schaaf has been a Certified Surgical Tech since 1996. She began her career at Bryan and then joined their Heart Team in 1999. She became one of the first Licensed Surgical First Assists in the State of Nebraska in 2001. Her expertise is in Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery, but she has had the opportunity to work with all specialties throughout her career. She has been instrumental in the development of the OR team at Doctors Outpatient Surgery Center.
Tami Meisner has worked as a Certified Surgical Technologist since 2008 at Bryan Medical Center. She worked all specialties including trauma for 10 years. She is also one of the Nebraska’s Licensed First Assistant since 2016. She joined Doctors Outpatient Surgery Center when it first opened to continue with the First Assistant needs for our community. She is excited to take the next step to broaden her practice as Lead Tech and be a larger part of our team.


Rachel Schwarz began her nursing career in 2020 after graduating from Bryan College of Health Sciences. She started during the pandemic in the Bryan East ER where she became triage certified and a preceptor for new nurses. In 2022, she joined Doctors Outpatient Surgery Center as a Preop/PACU nurse and later moved into the role of Charge Nurse.
Laura Frayser has been a Registered Nurse since 2007, beginning her career in the ICU at Nebraska Heart Hospital. In 2012, following the birth of her youngest child, she transitioned to the Quality department at Nebraska Heart, where she managed all the heart surgery registries. It was during this time that she developed a strong passion for quality improvement and patient safety. In 2019, she was thrilled to join the team at DOSC, combining her dedication to Quality and her desire to stay connected to patient care. Laura is working to gain her Infection Preventionist certification which should be completed in 2026.
